Events, Swapmeets, Rallies.

The Castlemaine rally is over for another year. Now we need new events to post here. So if you know of any events happening that would be of interest to your fellow Lancia or Fiat enthusiast or putting on an event yourself, please e-mail us the details and we will post it here for free.

The NSW and Queensland Lancia Clubs will be holding a combined 3 day rally at Armidale in north-western NSW in September. The final date has not been announced yet but it will be a wonderful gathering of cars and Lancia people. All interested in Lancia are invited to come along and join in the events.
We will advise final dates etc as soon as these are announced.

VIA APPIA 2003

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of the little Appia in 1953, a major rally is planned for May next year in Italy.

The 12 day event, specifically for Appia, will commence at Lake Orta in northern Italy on May 19, 2003.

Visits have been arranged to Forbello, Torino and the Lancia museum and factories in Torino.

The rally run will travel down the Via Aurelia to Pisa, with a visit to the leaning tower, and then to Livorno, and Civitavecchia to Roma.From Roma the convoy will travel down the Via Appia to Terricina.The event then turns north again, following the famed Mille Miglia route to conclude in Parma and Piacenza.

McLeans Bridge Classic Car Display

Don't forget the biggest classic car display in Queensland takes place at McLeans Bridge on Sunday May 12. Cars start gathering from 8.30am. Bring a picnic lunch and join in with your favouite marque.

The Lancia Club will be in attendance this year with a fine display of cars not often seen.
